The Smarty Saver Fully Automatic Defibrillator with sturdy case is very affordable and easy to use. It allows to deliver one or more defibrillating shocks on adult or paediatric patients affected by ventricular fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia, by means of a thorax impedance-compensated, biphasic truncated exponential discharge (BTE). The Fully-Automatic model analyses the patient's ECG and if a shockable rhythm is detected it will warn the user of imminent shock delivery. The phase following the defibrillation, that is the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, will be guided by voice prompts and the metronome marking the various cycles of compressions and insufflations.
